Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK). One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens on your account.

• Pick a username that isn't reserved and doesn't impersonate another person, company, or public figure.
• Give us a real email address we can reach you at.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile settings. Deletion is irreversible.

Don't:

• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploits minors.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organisation.
• Spam, phish, or run automated abuse (including scraping outside our public API, bulk account creation, or artificial ranking manipulation).
• Attempt to break, probe, or circumvent our security controls, rate limits, or authentication.
• Upload malware or interfere with other users' ability to use the service.

We can remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

You own your rankings, bio, avatar, and other content you post. By posting it, you grant VibeHive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it as needed to run the service — including on your public profile page and in Hive/overlap features. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we're required to retain it (e.g. safety reports).

Media metadata (posters, covers, release info) is provided by third-party sources (OMDb, IGDB, Google Books, MusicBrainz, Wikipedia). All trademarks and cover art belong to their respective owners.

If you see something that violates these terms, use the in-app report action. We review reports as fast as we can. We can't guarantee any specific outcome, but we take safety-critical reports (harassment, threats, content involving minors) seriously and prioritise them.

VibeHive is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep the service running but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeHive is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months (which for a free service is zero).

You can stop using VibeHive and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms or if we're legally required to. On termination, your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

We'll update the "Last updated" date when we change these terms. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction VibeHive is operated from. Where local consumer protection law gives you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply.
